| "The cd is of a band I was with for 4 years
called the Jamie Wilson Band. Jamie is Jimmy Barnes' ex-guitarist and I am Ian
Moss' ex-bassplayer. I also worked with Don Walker in his own band called Catfish
and made 2 video clips with them. Cold Chisel's drummer, Steve Prestwich played
in Mossy's own band as well, so I've pretty much worked with all of Cold Chisel
over the years."
"The cd has 10 original songs. I feature in one lead vocal, Jamie sings the rest, but my vocals can be heard ALL over the other songs in harmonies and solo-bits." |
| "The band played four Level 42 songs at live gigs: Mr. Pink, Hot Water, Forever Now, Lessons in Love and I always wanted to do our version of Mr. Pink on the cd but being an original thing we decided to write something similar and What's your name? is what we came up with. The cd was done live in the studio except for vocals and extra guitar parts. It's from 1994." - RJ |

Eastside Music Fender Exhibition '94 review: "The Jamie Wilson Band - What can I say? The combination of these three really works (especially the left to right blond look). Jamie Wilson and Rebecca Johnson "CARVED IT UP" and got right out there, never forgetting Robbie Siracusa (drums) who is definitely an equal. Theses musos are all young and in what would seem a short period of time have made major roads in the elusive world of Australian rock music. Both Jamie Wilson's guitar playing and Rebecca Johnson's excellent bass execution were faultless and exciting. Don't miss another chance to see these guys in action." |
