* Level 42, close ties to Holland. The British funk band Level 42 can't go wrong after the album "Level 42", the single "Love Games" and a very succesful tour through our country last april. Level 42's ties to our country are pretty tight: bassplayer Mark "Thunderthumb" King is married to a Dutch girl, and recently the members of the band are supposed to have recorded a single sung in Dutch. Either way: today they are back in the neighborhood, specifically in Amsterdam in the newly renovated Flora Palace to play a dress-rehearsal for the upcoming official European tour. Next month four tour dates are planned in our country, from october 18th - 23rd in Groningen, Rotterdam, Geleen, Nijmegen and Zwolle respectively.

"Level 42" goes gold!

Before the show started there was a (very short) ceremony where the band was presented with a Gold Record for the album Level 42 Veronica TV recorded the show that night and broadcast 4 songs on the following sunday.
