Rebecca and her close musician friends have created the ultimate funk band which will now feature Rebecca Johnson as the lead vocalist as well as her incredible bass playing. They play a repetoire of music from the 70s to some of the latest hits in a style that will have you grooving on your seats.

Rebecca Johnson is renowned for her unique bass playing and over the years has played with numerous bands including Richard Clapton, Margaret Urlich, Ian Moss, Vanessa Amorossi and more.

Con Settineri (Drums) - Con was born in Australia in 1961. His father is a drummer who has played all over Sydney and overseas. Con started playing at the age of 12 with the tuition of his father. By 15, he was playing in restaurants and began session work at 18. Reaching 20, he played at The Paradise Jazz Cellar in Kings Cross with 'Dumbala' and jammed with various overseas artists. Being versatile, Con was able to do a lot of freelance work which involved all styles of music: afro, cuban, calypso, reggae, funk, blues, jazz, pop, and rock & roll. Played at Sydney`s 'Basement' with Andrew Oh, Round Midnite, Doug Williams, Jeff Duff, Mark Williams, Erana Clark, Barry Leef and Craig Calhoun & The Brothers of Oz. Con has recorded with an African Band, 'Bu-Baca' and other well known musicians, Jeff Duff Orchestra, Doug Williams & The Black Mass and also toured and played with Jenny Morris.

Ara Nercessian (Keyboards) - Born in Armenia, Ara began playing accordian at the age of 6 and switched to keyboards by the age of 12. His versatile styles include many latin gigs over the years as well as funk, pop, jazz and rock. Ara has toured Australia many times and played at Sydney`s prestigious venues like The Opera House, The Basement and has enjoyed a 5 year residency at The Bourbon & Beefsteak Bar at Kings Cross. Some of the bands and artists he has played with are Andrew Oh, Jim Kelly, Craig Calhoun & The Brothers of Oz, Delilah etc.

James Vertley (Guitars) - James is 1/2 Burmese and 1/2 Portugese and has been in Australia since 1977. Started playing guitar as a child in Thailand and since moving to Australia, he has always been an in-demand player. James covers all styles of music from funk, rock, jazz, pop, latin and recently playing accoustic guitar in a 30 piece orchestra with the Neil Diamond Show "Hot August Night". James has spent the last 15 years playing with many artists such as Doug Williams and The Black Mass, Robbie Krupski and numerous funk bands around town.
