  • 2002-Present - REBECCA JOHNSON BAND
    Rebecca and her close musician friends have created the ultimate funk band which will now feature Rebecca Johnson as the lead vocalist as well as her incredible bass playing. They play a repetoire of music from the 70s to some of the latest hits in a style that will have you grooving on your seats. Details here!

  • 2001-2002 - CHARTBUSTERS
    Sydney`s longest standing and hardest working cover band, playing pubs, clubs and corporate functions. Existing for 6 years and after many line-ups settling on the current one which is the best by far!

  • 2000-2001 - SUPERNATURAL
    One of Sydney`s busiest working cover bands featuring famous Aussie actor/singer, Andre Eikmeier.

  • 2000-2001 - VANESSA AMOROSI
    New Years Eve gig- The biggest crowd I`ve played to in my career. We played to 160,000 people at Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour for the "Rock The Millenium Concert" Footage from this gig resulted in RJ featuring in the video clip for Vanessa`s huge single "Absolutely Everybody".

  • 1999-2000 - TED MULRY
    Famous Aussie superstar, Ted Mulry, bass player/singer from the Ted Mulry Gang, who unfortunately died on September 1st,2001. RJ played bass on Ted`s last solo CD "This Time" which also featured Paul De`Marco (Rose Tattoo`s drummer). Recorded (January 2000) + Many live gigs with "Ted Mulry & Friends" (Ted playing accoustic guitar) in late `99.

  • 1999 - THE BROTHERS OF OZ
    Sydneys most famous funk band playing at "The Basement" regularly. "The Brothers" feature awesome bass player, Craig Calhoun (cousin of Will Calhoun-(drummer from Living Colour/Jungle Funk). RJ had the honor of being the one to replace Craig for some gigs in `99. The Bro`s also feature famous Aussie singer, Mark Williams of "Show No Mercy" fame.

  • 1999 - Sam Hawksley Band
    funk, blues, rock band featuring RJ and Sam on lead vocals and Sam's awesome guitar playing with credits such as the recent "Main Event" Tour where he played with John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Anthony Warlow.

  • 1999 - Ted Mulry Gang
    Recorded new CD called *This Time* and several live gigs

  • 1999 - Kate Ceberano
    female lead role in Jesus Christ Superstar and many huge selling albums. RJ - bass and backing vocals supporting the recent hit single *Pash*

  • '98/'99 David Adams Band
    (David Adams, originally from Nebraska, singer/songwriter/guitarist just recorded new 6 track cd 'Poppies'. In '91, the 'Red Not Blue' cd was produced by Richard Clapton)

  • '96/'97 Dawayne Bailey
    (Ex guitarist/singer from US band Chicago Dawayne Bailey performed with Jeff Duff And The Prophets; many live performances, television shows and studio gigs, as well as clinics at local colleges. Dawayne guested on The Prophets' new cd)

  • '96 Jeff Duff And The Prophets
    (many shows around Sydney with this hot 11 piece horn band, featuring famous Australian singer Jeff Duff)

  • '96 Richard Clapton
    (More gigs with one of Sydney's household name recording stars. Promoting his 12th album Angeltown, this time with the former drummer and guitarist of the famous Australian band Baby Animals)

  • '96 Shauna Jensen Band
    (Shauna is also one of Sydney's most respected session and backing singers for such huge artists as Jimmy Barnes, Richard Clapton and Margaret Urlich. Original bluesy/funk band, playing mostly songs off her new cd)

  • '96 Barry Leef And B'yond B'leef
    (Barry is one of Sydney's most respected session singers and can be heard on 90% of tv jingles; an extremely funky guitarist also,who has worked with Frank Zappa in the 70's)

  • '96 Honky Fonk
    (Funk cover band; Prince, Seal, Sting, Stevie Wonder etc.)

  • '96 G.T. Express
    (Funk cover band; Chaka Kahn, Vanessa Williams, George Michael etc.)

  • '96 Tracy Arbon
    (festival recording artist; extremely funky hot session band. Cd launch and numerous Sydney shows)

  • '96 Like Father Like Son
    (spent a month recording in Jakarta on this original project. Also did sessions and jingles at Jakarta's famous studio Jams)

  • '96 The Benson & Hedges Light Tones Off Limits Band
    (featuring well known Malaysian, Australian and American musicians. Two month tour of Malaysia performing rock/funk songs played in Malaysian and English at various hotels and resorts)

    (BMG recording artist; original pop/rock songs. Performed at Darling Harbour for the opening of the Glebe Island Bridge)

    (original blues/jazz/funk band. Well known Melbourne guitarist who tours regularly throughout Sydney)

    (Well established funky cover band; performed at international corporate gigs and many live gigs throughout Sydney)

    (The Roland VG8 Clinic Band performing special gigs around Australia demonstrating Roland products)

  • '95 The Jenni Forbes Band
    (Mushroom recording artist; original/cover rock/pop songs. Supported famous UK band Take That and rock legend Joe Cocker on their Australian tours in Sydney. Television appearances and cd launch)

  • '95 Jeff Duff And The Prophets
    (11 piece band featuring many of Australia's most most famous musicians. Originals and covers by Chicago, Tower Of Power and Tom Jones. Well established band with residency at Sydney's top jazz club The Basement, and also the Golden Sheef Hotel)

    (Original/cover band; blues/rock/funk featuring well known singer Kevin Bennett. Well established band with major following around Sydney)

    (Original/cover band, funk/rock; playing live for 3 years, major following and well established residency at the Old Manly Boatshed. Recorded live cd and played live in London at the famous Marquee Club. Shared half the lead vocals)

    (Australian rock legend with 10 albums. Major following with extensive touring. Recorded live cd and many television appearances)

  • '91 - '92 Margaret Urlich
    (Major New Zealand recording artist; recorded live cd and toured extensively)

  • '90 - '91 Swingshift
    (Major Cold Chisel show; well established, very popular touring band)

    ('86 Star Search winners; funk/reggae)

    (major concept band doing rock gigs, club and theatre shows; extensive television appearances and tours)

    (original rock/funk band; Living Colour influence)

    (original house/hip hop grooves. Sang backing vocals and featured in one song on bass)

    (formed my own band again; spin-off of Hip Hop; shared half the the lead vocals, seriously funky)
